|Strain development||Four congenic strains of the Hr gene have been generated using Hos:HR-1 mice as the donor strain by successive backcrossing to C57BL/6JJcl (RBRC01223), BALB/cAnNMs (RBRC01417), C3H/HeNCrlj (RBRC01418) and MSM/MsRbrc (RBRC01222) strains as recipients at Experimental Animal Division, RIKEN BioResource Center (BRC). The deposition of the four congenic strains to RIKEN BRC has been acknowledged by HOSHINO LABORATORY ANIMALS, CORP. (Masayuki Hoshino, President).|

|Specific Term and Conditions||The following terms and conditions will be requested by the DEPOSITOR.
1) The BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE shall be used only for academic research purposes by a not-for-profit organization.
2) The RECIPIENT must negotiate with RIKEN BRC and HOSHINO LABORATORY ANIMALS, CORP. and acquire a prior written consent to filing an application for a patent, or intellectual property or other rights based on the research results using the BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE.
3) The RECIPIENT of a for-profit organization must negotiate with HOSHINO LABORATORY ANIMALS, CORP. and obtain a prior written approval to use the BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE.
4) The RECIPIENT agrees that RIKEN BRC informs biannually to HOSHINO LABORATORY ANIMALS, CORP. of RECIPIENT organization name and quantity of distributed animals.
