RBRC No. RBRC05912
Type TransgeneCartagena
Species Mus musculus
Strain name C57BL/6N-Tg(CAG-L-Adipo)1Shb
Former Common name Adiponectin antisense Tg
H-2 Haplotype No Data
Background strain C57BL/6NCrSlc
Appearance
1 Appearance No Data
Genotype No Data
Strain development Developed by Kiyomi Saito, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Showa University in 2005. The transgene was injected into the pronuclei of C57BL/6 fertilized eggs.
Strain description Adiponectin sense transgenic mice. Although the Tg mice ordinarily show similar concentration of adiponectin proteins to WT mice, during inflammation, adiponectin level is more rapidly increased in Tg mice.
Colony maintenance Carrier x Carrier [or Crossing to C57BL/6NCrSlc]
