Strain development Developed by Itaru Imayoshi and Ryoichiro Kageyama, Institute for Virus Research, Kyoto University in 2007. TT2 ES cells were used. The mutant mice were crossed to ICR.
Strain description Hes1 gene floxed mice. LoxP sequences were knocked into the first intron and downstream of 3’UTR of Hes1 gene for conditional knock-out study. PGK-Neo sequence was removed.
