Strain development Developed by Katsuaki Sato, RIKEN Research Center for Allergy and Immunology in 2016. Bruce 4 ES cells derived from B6.Cg-Thy1<a> were used. Mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6J for 9 generations.
Strain description Clec4A4 (DCIR2) knockout mice. IRES-EGFP cassette was replaced with exon 1 and exon 2 of the Clec4A4 gene. No GFP expression was detected in the mice.
