Strain development Developed by Kazuhiro Iwai, Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University. TT2 ES cell line [(C57BL/6 x CBA)F1] was used. A pair of loxP sites were flanking an exon encoding RING-IBR-RING domain, and a genomic fragment between loxP sites were deleted by CAG-Cre. A Neo resistance gene was also deleted. C57BL/6 congenic strain.
Strain description Rnf31 (ring finger protein 31, HOIP) deficient mice. Exon encoding a RING-IBR-RING domain was deleted. Homozygous mutants are lethal at embryonic day 10.5.
