|Former Common name||No Data|
|H-2 Haplotype||No Data|
|Background strain||No Data|
|Strain development||Developed by Shin-ichi Tominaga and Kenji Kuroiwa, Jichi Medical University. DNA constructs (CAG-Il1rl1) were injected to fertilized eggs derived from C3H/HeJ. Mice were backcrossed to C3H/HeN for 7 generations.|
|Strain description||Transgenic mice expressing a secreted form of Il1rl1 (interleukin 1 receptor-like 1; alternative name, ST2) under the control of CAG promoter. Hundreds ng/ml of ST2 can be detected in serum of transgenic mice. Related transgenic mouse lines are available as RBRC09721, RBRC09722 and RBRC09723. BALB/c background (RBRC09692) and C3H/HeJ background (RBRC09724) are also available.|
