ES Cell line | CCE28 [129/Sv] |
Background strain | |
Appearance | |
Strain development | Deposited by Toshiharu Suzuki, Hokkaido University in 2018. This mutated allele was originally generated by Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. using ES cells derived from 129/SV. This strain was further backcrossed to C57BL/6J for 10 generations by the depositor. |
Strain description | Apba1 (amyloid beta (A4) precursor protein binding, family A, member 1; X11/mint 1) knockout mice. Homozygous mutants are fertile, but their littermate size is small (3 to 5 pups per litter). Heterozygous mice are used for breeding. |
