Strain description | Protein kinase C (PKC) delta is a member of PKC family which phosphorylates a wide variety of protein targets and is known to be involved in diverse cellular signaling pathways. In PKC family members, PKC delta has a unique function to supress cell proliferation. PKC-delta deficient mice exhibit expansion of the B- lymphocyte population and show autoimmune disease after 6 months of age. |
