Background strain | |
Appearance | |
Strain development | Developed by Hiroaki Honda, Research Institute for Radiation Biology and Medicine, Hiroshima University. A loxP was inserted upstream of exon 8 and an FRT flanked neo cassette with a 3’ loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 8. Exon 8 was removed by crossing with Cre mice (B6. B6C3-Tg (CAG-Cre) CZ-M02Osb). The mice were backcrossed with C57BL/6N for at least 9 times. |
Strain description | Kdm2b (Fbxl10) gene knockout mice. Exon 8 was removed by cre-mediated recombination. |
Colony maintenance | Heterozygote X Wild-type [C57BL/6NCrlCrlj] |
