Strain developmentDeveloped by Lisheng Zhuo and Koji Kimata, Aichi Medical University in 2000. E14 ES cell was used. C57BL/6N congenic line. Other congenic lines in C3H/HeSlc(RBRC09743), DBA1/JJms(RBRC09744)or BALB/cCrSlc(RBRC09745)are also available.
Strain descriptionAmbp(alpha 1 microglobulin/bikunin)knockout mice. A neo cassette replaced exons coding the Bikunin protein, but unchanged exons coding the alpha 1 microglobulin protein. Homozygous females are infertile.
